A few years after the first Souverän model, in 1985 the Souverän in total black was launched on the market. The difference between this version and the previous ones concerns the barrel, which in fact is no longer rifled, but in a solid color. The barrel is made of high quality black resin, the ink inspection window is transparent green, the details and the clip are gold plated – the result is a classic fountain pen with character.
